Safe House, Milwaukee

This is an excellent place to bring out of town visitors. Always an experience.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service! Safehouse got a new chef around june 2009 and since then the food has been excellent! Safehouse is a wonderful place to bring friends and family from out of town, I noticed friday and saturday nights have more of a party atmosphere.

Not very impressed, the theme behind the restaurant is cute, but the food is not so impressive! I wouldn't bother to stop

The Safe House is definitely a kitschy Milwaukee-only experience. It is a spy-themed bar, and it shows in everything. The entrance is down an alleyway, you need a password to enter ...aZand there are TVs inside for everyone to watch you try and get in! I love it!

The food and setting here is excellent! Everytime I get a chance to bring people here I go because this place sets itself apart from anyother in Milwaukee. I recommend this to anyone, young or old.

Kitsch atmosphere. Fun for drinks, but the food is lousy and overpriced. Service is usually pretty good.

Down an alley...double check to see if the secret police are following..slip into the office for International Imports... and you're close. Get by the receptionist and welcome to the Discreet World of the Safe House. I've been going here for years... and never disappointed. It's a must to escort visitors to. Off hours and weeknights offer that clandestine atmosphere for a romantic get together under a shroud of mystery....and Intrigue! Specialty drinks are a must at least once; don't eat...just drink heavily. a slow tour of the place is a for sure ... so take your time...have a great sandwich...impress you company with "Get Smart" phone booth. After all at some point in time... we all need a "Safe House".

A fun place to have a drink- very unique, but the quality of the food does not reflect the price. Microwaved food at its best.

The Safe House reminds me of places like Ed Debevic's or Planet Hollywood; all gimic, no quality. The food is subpar and overpriced, the drinks are fine, but the atmosphere is fun if you like having to work for your food.
