Visited for the first time on Sweetest Day (10/18). First impression was good, nice atmosphere, host was very pleasant. Could have used another bartender, one person was not nearly sufficient to care for the bar and the waitstaff.
We both ordered the signature french onion soup, salad, an entree and a side of sauteed mushrooms. The warm bread before ordering wad delightful. Was a little disappointed that the soup and salad were brought out together, made for a long wait before the main dish. The soup was very good with more of a gravey like consistency, a nice twist on an old classic. I had the signature steak (18 oz bone in ribeye), my date had the tenderloin medalions served over asparagus and topped with a crab sauce. Both were done to perfection. Desert selection is very limited, but neither of us had room, even without traditional side dishes (potatoes, etc.).
With an improvement is service, this is easily a 4-5 star hidden gem.
