Hunt Club Steakhouse, Lake Geneva

After reviewing their menu on line went there with a purpose. To try the Rabbit and Duck over Wild Mushroom risoto.Very good. However the dish my wife ate blew it away, the beef cheek stoganoff. Outstanding! The wine list and service is always top notch.

We had dinner at the Hunt Club on Wednesday June 9th. Dinner was excellent. We were greeted as we walked in the door, seated immediately. Our server was there within seconds. Bread and butter and a garlic spread (?) was brought to our table The view is beautiful. It overlooks the golf course and Lake Como. We started with very reasonable priced drinks, we had the Lobster Bisque and the Beet Gazpacho. Both soup were wonderful. Our main courses were the Lobster and the Filet. The Lobster had a great flavor and texture served with garlic mashed and baby carrots. The filet was great, cooked just right, so tender, served over garlic mashed and served with baby carrots. Our server was very attentive, refilled our drinks and cleared plates in a timely manner. The Chef visited our table to ask if our were meals were prepared to our satisfaction. We shared a dessert, Chocolate truffle sundae..very good chocolate truffles. Very large dessert. We will return.
