Moy's Restaurant, Elkhorn

This place has the best chinese food around BUT I dont think they like Kid s.I have been there twice with my family which includes two boy s 4-2 and the women who works up in front always looks at us like we should leave our kids in the car.She wouldnt seat us with other people and put us in a room by are selfs.Like kids cant be around other people GOD forbid the talk or make noise.So when you go wathch the look s you might get because you have KIDS..........

Best egg rolls EVER. We moved away and Moy's is the one place we really miss.

My husband and I went with our two girls (30 minute drive). WELL WORTH IT!! We all enjoyed what we ordered! You know it's good when you comment on how yummy their white rice is! We will go back, very soon! Enjoy!!!

My husband and I have been going to Moy's for over 20yrs and i have yet to fine a more friendly place to go.I think one of things that most of the public doesn't know is that they have some of the best steaks around and you can't beat there egg rolls.Thanks Paul and staff for all the great dinners and lunches

Moy's is OPEN and RE-Modeled after the fire. Moy's is the best Chinese Food in Wisconsin. I eat there at least once a week. Try the Hong Kong Steak with the oyster sauce on the side. Try the egg rolls the soups In Fact try anything on the menu and it is prepaired perfectly everytime. I could go on & on about how good this place is. It's worth the drive everytime. Thank You Moy's for being in Elkhorn, it's about the only thing in Elkhorn that could put us on the map.

I dropped in yesterday to make a reservation for Friday night and was handed a menu and told to call them...weird, no? I still plan on visiting there tonight with a called-in reservation. Maybe a better review is in order...we'll see.

While Moy's is not what many on the coast thing of when they adore good Chinese food, that is our fault. We have Americanized and sauced everything to death. For my money in this area Moy's atmosphere, service and food are the best. The Orange Blossom Chicken is to die for; the rib appetizer got me through many happy hours in the bar. While King Dragon in Walworth is a cheaper casual lunch and dinner carry-out place, when it comes to a relaxing full service dinner, Moy's beats Su Wing's hands down. Su Wing's is salty and greasy, meat is inconsistent and you are eating in the old Dog n' Suds. GO MOY'S....

We have been going to Moy's for more than 20 years. I haven't been there lately due to moving away and their recent fire. I met my parents there for Mother's Day and we were so glad to have them back in business! While I don't know what went wrong with the last reviewer's experience, I can only say that I have not had better Chinese food anywhere else. Today I had a cup of vegetable soup, which was wonderfully fresh and flavorful. I also had the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce; the shrimp were huge and the most tender I have had anywhere, Chinese or not. I can't wait to go back again.

If you want good Chinese food from around the area - GO TO SU WINGS in Lake Geneva! We just moved to Lake Geneva and decided to check out this restaurant. We LOVE Chinese food and eat it pretty often. We ordered Potstickers for an appetizer, those were pretty good, and Orange Chicken and General Tao (our favorite). The General Tao was ok, it had too much vinegar though. The Orange Chicken was AWFUL. All we could taste was vinegar, worst Orange Chicken we have ever had! We both ate one bite of it and that was it. We kindly asked if it could be taken off the bill since we didn't eat any of it and it tasted horrible and the manager was very rude, telling us that we shouldn't of ordered it if we have never had it before and she wouldn't take it off the bill. We have had LOTS of Orange Chicken before! Maybe because we are a younger couple (both 25 years old) she felt like she had the right to tell us we didn't know what we were talking about - she treated us like we were 12 years old! The service was very good though, the waitress was very nice. We will never go here again. If you are from around the area, I highly suggest you go to Su Wings, it is MUCH better.
