I went to Januli's for lunch yesterday. The salad was very fresh and the panini was wonderful. Delicious coffee. And the carmel cheese cake was to die for. Wish I lived closer and I would go more often. Love the ambience.
Bobbie & Dan have been enjoying Januli's for the past 9 years, several times a month. The pizza is our favorite, however, we have had other entree's, and enjoyed them just as much. The food is great and is rated by two people who frequently dine at only at 4 or 5 star restaurants. Julie is always very friendly, and cares about her customers. The interior ambiance reminds us of the old world charm of Little Italy in lower Manhattan, New York City.
Food is not great. Food takes FOREVER and its not worth the wait... too many young kids who dont know what they are doing.
DO NOT GET DESSERT!! its always sitting in the cooler. I was served a moldy piece of cake...that was the last straw!
My husband and I really enjoy this little place. It sometimes takes a while for the food to come out but it is worth it! I think they have the second best chicken alfredo ever and my husband loves the pizzas and calzones.
I love this place! A fantastic diversity of food; strombolis, calzones, pizza, plenty of pasta dishes.
I am a regular, and there are daily specials:
Monday- $2 dollars off large pizza
Tuesday- All you can eat Spaghetti
Wednesday- $1 off pasta salad
Thursday- Ravioli Special
Friday- Seafood special
Saturday- Family deal- supper for 4 (avail. at any time) consistent of 2 salads, 2 loaves of bread and a large 2 topping pizza for $28
They are also trying to get up their deli for deli sales!
But, best of all, there is a singer there! Her name is Amanda, and she is a young untrained singer with amazing abilities! She sounds like an opera singer! I would highly recommend anyone new to this town to come here, or if you live in WB, just come! It is a lovely place with a warm ambiance, a great family atmosphere with an extensive Italian menu and a great singer!
In the past Januli's (named for its creators Jan and Juli) was an excelent restaurant. Sadly since one of the owners left, the quality of the food has gone down hill. Just today I went in and ordered a Panini that had cardboard thin and tasting chicken on it, pesto mayo that looked nothing like how it was supposed to, and canned peppers. I also purchased Brushetta and it was terrible, you could tell the tomatoes were not fresh and it was nearly 7 dollars for 3 pieces. Never will I go back to this restaurant even if they change... my good judgment once lost is lost forever.
Great pizza! I recommend the margarita pizza...chewy crust, oooeey mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, basil, garlic. It is so simple, but tastes soooo good. I would not recommend picking up a baked pizza and bringing it home to eat. (it was cold by the time we got home) I would bake it at home instead. They have a fun selection of canned sodas, too.
No Consistency with the food.
2 times in the past year we had burned pizza crust.
They don't even say we burned your crust they just give it to you
that way. We had the new wheat crust on 12/21/07 which they
burned, we ate it and left the badly burned pieces,it had no taste it
all.I wish I would of said something right then, but I was being nice
and did'nt want other customers to hear it.We used to eat here 2 times
per month, now we are done with this place it is definitly not a 5 star
restaurant.Take your chances with this place.
They have high schooler cooks that could be the reason for the
poor food their too busy talking .I won't be back!!!!!
