Coachman House Supper Club, West Bend

I am from the east coast and travel to West Bend for business at least once a year. If I am in town, I try and stop by the Coachman. An entire year may go by, but the staff (and sometimes even some of the patrons) remembers me! The food is also good and I love the charm of the bar area...it reminds me of the Regal Beagle from Three's Company. If you want a nice meal, good prices and friendly service, stop by the Coachman.

Excellent food and service, decent prices. As another review states, walking into the lounge is like walking back into 1968 complete with the wooden console jukebox. Could use a little more ambience and updating, in the dining area, it was casual/comfortable though--and clean. I ordered Filet mignon and my date ordered a ribeye. Both came with soup AND salad, which were great. The waitress was attentive, good timing. Our steaks were done perfectly, and the prices were fair. Our bill came in under $30 (not typical for two steak dinners as good as these were).

Good food - friendly service. It does seem that is serves more people of 60 than your average place. The bar is a throw back to 1968 - I'm waiting for Dean Martin to start playing on the radio. Old fashioned dated bar.

The Coachman House is a terrific dining experience. A casual and intimate environment yet they provide all the formal services of a traditional dining restaurant. The food at Coachman House is second to none. Their Lobster tail is simply out of this world and their steaks are always cooked to perfection. Add in fresh rolls and terrific side dishes and the Coachman House can't be beat.
