Trattoria Stefano, Sheboygan

Spent 275.00 on very average food for four diners. Hardly saw the server except for at order any pay time. The worst? Asked to vacate the table we had occupied for one and one half hours because another party had arrived and needed the table. Inexcusable, will not return.

Was there for dinner with my husband and twin 11 year old boys. It was delicious!! A must try!

Absolutely the best Italian I have ever had. Amy Koslte at The Rochester Inn recommended it and said she eats there often and now we know why! I got a pasta dish and my husband had a succulent pork dish. We went across the street to Il Ritrovvo afterward to pick up some authentic Italian foods in the grocer section and ended up having another drink over there! We will be back to Sheboygan Falls!

This is a great restaurant from the food, the service and the atmosphere! I highly recommend it.

A friend of mine had raved about how fantastic Trattoria Stefano is so last Saturday night we drove up to the restaurant for dinner. The hour long drive from Milwaukee was enjoyable as was our drink at the bar and that is where the night took an unexpected turn. We ordered the appetizer special which contained a little of everything. It was average at best. We also opted to order the specials for the evening which included a halibut and a ribeye steak, a half order of the Nona stefano's pasta; our friends ordered the ribeye and another evening special, the mushroom rotinni. The food was average as well. Our waitress was nice, paid close attention to us prior to our order then we were lucky if we ever saw her again until the bill and even then was not coming around much. We were lucky that the bus boy was walking around with a pitcher of water! to sum it up... for 4 glasses of wine (house as well) and a mixed drink, one appetizer, one salad, and 4 entrees.... $285! We go out to dinner quite often and are not afraid to spend money for good food but, Trattoria Stefano was a HUGE disappointment! Love it! every thing we orderd was Devine! Everyone made us feel welcome even if we did wear jeans! Felt like we were in ITALY!!!! Very HIGH class! $price but worth it. You don't get alot of the local(thank god!) but the ones that were there were at least educated and had taste! lol (we used to live in Sheboygan but moved to NY!)

Visited this restaurant while in town on business, as it was recommended to my by the staff an another great restaurant down the street from this one. Stefanos is good, but very overpriced! I had a nice stuffed veal and a wonderful carpaccio. Im not cheap when it comes to spending a good amt on dinner, but this was excessive. The wine list was good, (better down the street), the server I had was condescending and rude the enitre meal, and knew less on Italian Wine that he thought. Overall good food if it was priced about $7-10 less

We discovered Trattoria Stefano when visiting the Sheboygan area. We've been to Italy and are harsh critics of Italian food. The food and wine at this restaurant was fantastic, the staff was enthusiastic and the owners are terrific. So much fun. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian food.

We dine out across the US this is by far one of the better Italian restaurants thus far. Service could kick it up a notch, but does not hinder experience as food overcomes that shortcoming.
