Walden-A Supper Club, West Bend

Great food, drinks and atmosphere-all at reasonable prices. If your looking for a great sandwich, their burgers are a well kept secret! Whoever the bad bartender was that people complained about on previuos posts must have left, becasue the ones we encountered were very friendly and not afraid to buy you a drink.

After the experience we had here we would NEVER go back. The bartender was extremely rude to us. (This bartender needs to learn how to speak to people who come in without being rude.) Also, when we first got there we noticed a lot of workers there but everyone seemed to ignore us while we stood there waiting for the hostess. Its a real shame seeing as though as there food was decent. Its sad to say that they won't be receiving business from us anymore. Maybe once theres new management (or a new bartender) we might come back.

Visit Walden's for excellent Prime Rib, one of their specialties. Much better than most other places. Price is excellent too. Any nightly special is sure to be awesome & a great value. Their Deep Fried Shrimp is the best I've had, anywhere. Their soups are full of delicious flavor. I live 30 min. away from either Walden's or downtown Milw. Don't go to Milw. much anymore. Drinks are great, prices are fair, bar has great atmosphere with a pair of entertaining bartenders & friendly patrons. I have always had friendly, professional service, everyone experienced here. Fish fry, OK, not what I come for, although the parking lot is always full. Unless you want upscale atmosphere with upscale prices, make Walden's your place.

Walden-A Supper Club This place is a true classic. I have been going to Waldens for many many years just have not been there recently until a few weeks ago. This is a place I would expect to run into my parents if they lived in the area. Old Fashions, Crackers and cheese and Snack mix all served in the bar while you wait for your table. The view is over Wallace Lake. I love eating a meal and looking at the lake. Seeing the nature seems to always top a meal. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered the broiled fish which was just okay on the flavor meter and my friend ordered the pretzel encrusted Chicken (forgot the fancy name of it) that he indicated was fantastic. I would say the service and atmosphere made up for any possible imperfections. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place, the people are extremly nice and very respectful busers. I highly recommened their steaks, i have been their time and time again. they have the best steaks i have ever had, and all their soups are amazing excpecialy their baked french onion. I absolutly love their schaum torte and birthday cheesecake. Also excellent drinks and beautiful veiw. Dont miss this one it is deffinitly worth it

This place has the BEST tenderloin I have had since Coerpers 5 O'Clock Supper Club was owned by Ted Coerper. Service is outstanding and the drinks are good. Beautiful view of the lake. If you like supper clubs this is a must. If you like fish fry not so much.

Food is AWESOME:) If it was not for the good food and great view of the lake we would not be back - The bartender is very rude:( If this bartender is working we when we come in, we go straight to the dining room.

Went to Waldens for a fish fry last night. Bartenders were extremely slow and unattentive. Waitress didnt have much of a personality. Extra charge for a baked potato with dinner even though it wasnt stated in the menu. Salad bar left much to be desired. Dressings and salads were not labeled and fish was mushy...wont be going back! Little value for the money

This place is amaaaaazing - they know how to make an excellent steak!
