On a bright Sunday afternoon, a friend and I went to Brazen Head as a recommendation from a friend. The place is very clean, looks great and the atmosphere is nice. Being fairly new to town I felt a bit out of place. We waited some time just to get our first drink and they were in no way all that busy.
I have to admit all the face jewelry on the bartender was a bit unappetizing. Not just a lip or an eyebrow but many other items pierced
I requested a small Bloody Mary and was told they can’t make them small… huh?
When asking the bartender for a recommendation on the food, her come back was “I don’t know, I don’t eat meat” huh? ….. wow so far not so good.
My friend and I decided to split a Gyro and have an appetizer.
The food was very very good. Service? Well that wasn’t so great.
My goal is to find a place where I can get great food and service all in one. This place didn’t pass. Will I go back? Probably. Most every place deserves a second chance in my opinion.

I agree with WIByrd. We live about 25 miles southwest but were in the West Bend area. We came upon this place and the people were really nice. We're in our 40's and 50's and did not feel out of place. The food was hot and good and the prices are reasonable. If it were smoke free, I'd be 100% satisfied.
I highly doubt the people intentionally served Tony the reviewer below with a broken glass. Come on. If you're so against young people, go to the VFW.
I think Tony needs to give Brazen Head another shot. I love the at home feel this bar has. When I was new to the city eveyone there welcomed me - the owners and the regulars alike. I have never had a bad meal there and the portions are enormous! They have a great selection of tap beers and free food on game day - and not just chips and dip people. We are talking smoked ham for sandwiches and home-make potato salad. Tony, I don't think anyone was out to get you.
