IL Ritrovo, Sheboygan

Finally tried the restaurant last year. Waiter was great. Got bruschetta, alittle chintsy on the tomatoes, alittle too salty. Margherita pizza was ok, but could have been tastier and cheesier - for $13 it was sort of not worth it? Bill came to nearly $30, I left a good tip. Afraid I might not return though. Alittle too pricey for the quality, too salty and no WOW factor in place. Oh well, hope others like it to make up for my so-so review - I am for local places staying in biz.

My wife and I celebrate every special event here. The Calabrese pizza is perfect every time. The service is great, and so are the drinks! We have been there at least 50 times in the last 7 years, and NEVER have had a bad experience.

I was overcharged! I left a 17% tip, but I guess that wasn't good enough. My credit card bill had a 20% tip charge. I called the place, and they asked for information such as, when I was there, my CC #, what the bill was, what I was charged, my name & address, and they said they would "take care of it". I never heard back from them. I will be sending a letter out. Check your credit card bill after going to this place! I gave them two stars, only because the pizza was ok.

Nothing can compare to ritrovo's pizza. The best pizza there is. They were voted number 1 pizza place on fox 6 news (milwaukee) last year! They are my number 1 pizza place to go to. They never dissapoint. Prices are very fair. They have all their ingredients shipped from Italy. Other than traveling to Italy yourself, it doesn't get any better!

BEST PIZZA EVER! This is not pizza like any other, not American anyway. Our Innkeeper in Sheboygan Falls, Amy, turned us on to this place, and we were very pleased. Thanks for a great meal! If we return to Sheboygan Falls again, we will make the trip to Sheboygan to get this pizza!

Very pricey and slow service. Inconsistant quality of ingredients depending on who is making the pizza. We prefer thin crust and more varied cheeses. noisy atmosphere.

Best ingredients, fresh, scrumptious, and the wine selection is great. From the pizza to the sandwiches and back to the soup...the BEST. If you want to score high on a date without breaking the bank go to IL Ritrovo.

All pizza will be held to a higher standard from this day forward. My lofty expectations were met after dining at IL Ritrovo. The food, the service, the atmosphere, even the price were better than what I could have hoped for. I drove 2 hours from Racine to try the pizza and would easily drive farther than that. I now have a new favorite pizza place.

My family and I live approximately 60 miles north of Sheboygan in Green Bay. While there are restaurants in and around Green Bay (with more continuing to pop up everyday) there really is nothing that compares with IL Ritrovo. On 5 or 6 Saturdays per year we drive to Sheboygan so the kids can go to the local childrens museum and then eat dinner at IL Ritrovo (or lunch first, museum second). The food is excellent. The service is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable. Whenever we go to Milwaukee or Chicago, we make IL Ritrovo part of the trip. Having lived in Chicago, my wife and I are able to compare IL Ritrovo to the various places in the city know for its pizza. IL Ritrovo can hold its own against anyone. It really is outstanding. The only thing that could top it would be for there to be an "IL Ritrovo - North", located about 5 miles from Lambeau Field. Maybe next year for Christmas Santa can make that happen.

Everything is yummy at Il Ritrovo. Great atmosphere, great food. Can't lose.
