Peking Chinese Restaurant, Muscatine

Best Chineese Resturant around,they are always nice,food is always great,Try to eat there at least everyother week.Best time is the lunch specials. 5 stars

After looking up this restaurant and reading such great reviews I decided I was going to place an order to go with them, but boy was that a mistake. They have thee rudest manager I have ever spoken to. Due to a misunderstading about my order instead of taking away what I asked him to take away he basically told me to order from another restaurant and ended the call with me. These restaurant owners must be rolling in dough if they can afford to turn business away just like that. I don't care how good people may claim their food to be I've eaten at classier restaurants and had much better customer service. They will never see a dime of my money.

i have only been here once but LOVED their food. My husband is always wanting to go back. The food is a little pricey but definately worth the money.

BEST CHINEESE RESTURANT IN IOWA! whenever i go there the waitreses are always nice and the food, great! we love it there we try going once a month because it is so good but it depends on what you get and how many people there are because it can sometimes take a slice out of your wallet/checkbook. we always get sesame chicken or general chicken, 2 orders of crabrangoon (because me and my dad eat most of them with 2-3 left for my mom) plus they are wonderful. we also get 1 order of eggrolls yumm! im not too fond of sizziling rice soup, but thats because ive only had it like twice. another thing we get is the vfr (vegetable fried rice) i like the bean sprouts in it and the flavor of all of it oh before i go i forgot to tell you we also get foil wrapped chicken...yummy and mongolian beef they also have a more spicy mongolian beef. i do reccomend this resturant to anyone even if they have never had chineese food. i think hy-vee chineese is good also. if you go there then deffinately get orange chicken and fried rice and crabrangoon. there egrolls are vegetable and meat...icky. please take my advice and bring me the leftovers. just kidding

I love pekings food. my favs are the mongolian beef, sizzling rice soup, and the egg rolls the grease just drips out the ends of the rolls. while my husband loves the sweet and sour chicken. So yummy!

yesterday me and a friend took all the kids to this place and we have liked here all our lives and been there sence childhood. allways had good food and atmosphere. but this time was the worst visit anywhere,any time. the waittress was rude,unaccomidating,we had to get our own straws,napkins,and was waited on only once for refills on drinks.this is the kicker,the kids hardly ate and we took all their food home,hilf mine and hers. today i ope the boxes to have for dinner and discover that the waittress threw away over half of all our meals and mine had only anhalf inch of actual meal not rice on top, and what i had left not eaten waould have almost filled one box.the same with the kids meals and my friends. so she decided she didnt want to go get more boxes and instead just throw away the food we paid for.then my friend calls to complain and the owner actually told her that the waittress had a bad day w/family problems and if we didnt like the service go somewhere else. no sorry nothing to make up for the mony that went wasted for the food she threw away that would have been dinner tonight.to add to the story for you, we are a family that is stuck in a hotel waiting for travil orders per army and living this way mostly out ov pocket and with 3 chidren at all times with us and needing to spend wisely or wor what its worth,we got screwed big by the muscatine peking restaurant.

The BEST eggrolls bar far. We have ate at alot of Chinese places but this one gets a gold star for eggrolls. Fried Rice is great...not too many peas & carrots! Mongollian Beef is delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food one gets! A favorite & a recommendation!

I've moved away from Muscatine and have not found better eggrolls than what they have at Peking. Everyone I know says the same thing. I recommend the sizzling rice soup. Sometimes I go there and get just the soup and eggrolls and I'm satisfied. If you're taking kids I suggest getting beef on a stick. It's entertaining for kids and it tastes good. They give alot of food when you order a meal, but it also makes for great leftovers. My favorite meal is the new peking chicken. I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it. Enjoy!

I love to go to Peking. Not only does it satisfy my craving for Chinese, it also satisfies my budget. I tend to eat out a lot for lunch, and their lunch menu is fantastic. They do not skimp on proportions just because it is lunch as with some restaurants. The women who work there are extremely friendly and chatty. You feel as though your service is really appreciated.
