Maid-Rite, Bettendorf

I use to deliver the morning paper along State Street in the early 50s. Maid Rite was always my last stop for a sweet roll grilled with butter. Maid-Rite was just up the street from the bridge across to Moline, then. How great it was, 'specially during the winter months. Maid-Rite is my all-time favorite sandwich. WM Burgers in Kaimuki, Hawaii is my second fav. Now, I live in California where we have In-and-Out Burgers, and that is my third. 'Scuse me, I am getting hungry! Bye.
