Had only one waitress which seemed to be serving the whole restaurant, took forever to order, get refills, and receive food. Plates were dirty. Food taste like leftovers and everything is overpriced. The interior and exterior are fresh and clean looking. Packed house during peak hours.
As with most Olive Garden's, the food is good and service is good. But this particular one is almost always too busy with long waits for tables. This is the reason why I haven't gone to this particular Olive Garden in a long time, in addition to the fact that I no longer live in the QC.
So if you're willing to wait for awhile, it's worth it I suppose if you like the food anyway. But I personally have reservations about waiting nearly an hour for food, which is normal for this location it seems. And honestly if you have to wait that long anyway, you could assume they have plenty of business anyway and not feel bad about going somewhere else.
Very sad that we all love fast packaged food. these company's don't care its a pay check not fresh food.. food is not worth the wait. The wait was very long to wait, if its going to be 30min. or even more its no worth it. We have gone to authentic place's in town, and wait isn't that long. All the catch is, all u can eat salad, bread? then you get a small plate of pasta? price is high of coarse, our bread and salad is Paid anyway. We turned to support local any way.Think about it in a way.they don't have coupons to support folks to go in, Our seniors.
If you like other Olive Gardens, this one is pretty standard. The food is good and the service is decent too. The only thing that kind of grossed me out was that the waiter sneezed and after he left, I kept wondering if he washed his hands (since he sneezed into them) while he served us. Not his fault, of course. I hope he did wash...
Anyway, the food was great. As with all OGs, the wait can get brutal during peak hours and occasionally non-peak hours. My friend just had a 20 minute wait a few days ago on a Tuesday afternoon (around 3ish).
The restaurant looks pleasant inside and the outside of it is landscaped beautifully. Check out the real grape vines during the Spring/Summer!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Quad Cities. Great Italian food, nice atmosphere, and the service is good. It's also cool to hear Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin playing in the background. The breadsticks are my favorite part - they cannot be beat! I love both the spaghetti and ravioli, and would recommend either one. The food is always very filling, but it's even better if you save room for dessert! Just expect to wait at least 15 minutes, as this is the only Olive Garden in the area and is a popular restaurant.
But I guess everyone loves this place, because almost every day after 3PM or so you have to wait 15-60 minutes to be seated. My first trip there we were turned away because aparently one of their womans bathroom pipes broke and they said they couldn't hold buisiness because the health department requires a working bathroom. There was already a full house inside, and aparently the Mens bathroom was working fine. Not exactly the greatest first impression of the customer service that manager provides. But I guess it's the only Olive Garden within an hour or more, so I guess these are the sacrifices one has to make if they want Italian food in this area, since it seems to be the only sit down/not fast food Italian restaurant in this area.
