Great Dragon Express, Dubuque

Wow. I wanted to order delivery, they barely understand English and wanted to charge me extra for fried rice that was already in the #16 combo price! Not only that, the man on the phone then said it would be $8 for delivery! What the heck? That is insane. I think they were treating me like this because I have an out of state phone number? So what if their food is good. I dont care. I wanted delivery, and this was the worst ridiculous service EVER.

Great Dragon. Wow. What can I say. First off let's just start by saying this is hands down the best and most authentic Chinese food that you will find in Dubuque. There are two locations, there is one next to Target, and one on Central Ave. I would HIGHLY recommend going to the location on Central Avenue. There is definitely something about the downtown location that stands out in my opinion. The food here is amazing. Great Dragon offers a lunch buffet that only costs $6 with water, $7 with pop. The food is so good that I try to make it to Great Dragon several times a week. I especially love the Black Pepper Chicken, sometimes it is so good that I think I am going to stroke out or go in to Cardiac Arrest. Great Dragon also has the best crab meat rangoons in the Tri-States. The buffet is small, but the dishes they offer are simply remarkable. I would bleed for this restaurant. If they ever go out of business there will be nothing good left in this world and I will possibly attempt suicide. 5+ stars

my favorite chinees in dubuque has daily lunch buffet or u can order form lunch and dinner plate specials. they also have a regular menu u can order from. I highly recommend the Hunan Beef and the Lo Mein is just like the the one from new york where i am from. the decore is nothing to write home about but you are there to eat right? Give it a try!

Fantastic! I Go to This Place At Least Once a Week. The Food is Hot and Always Delicious. The Environment is Awesome. It is Most Definitely the Best Chinese Place in Dubuque By Far. There are Two Locations, I Recommend Going to The One on Central Ave.

I love this place... Its right down from the art studio.. Get a great lunch or dinner from the specials menu for the same price of fast food and better for you. Helpings are always large enough for left overs... ummmm
