Good reputation, the service is always good. The food though seems to be rather bland and tasteless like they are afraid of it. Overall a good dining experiance, I do caution about being seated near the front counter. The front counter people and the cooks behind them seem to delight in yelling insults and profanity back and forth.
Perkins has wonderful pastry and desserts. It's okay for breakfast, but I feel that the meals cater to the over 60 crowd. A bit bland and ordinary perhaps. Just not my style. The environment is clean and cordial, but the service a bit slow at a busy time.
