Went there with my family for my birthday, it was awful! Smells horrible in there, like old people. The wait staff were rude, my 4 year old's meal was served 10 minutes after 6 adults got there meals. Also took 15 minutes to get her chocolate milk. My red wine was watered down. The meatballs were nothing special, the red sauce tasted burnt. The cooks were cussing and yelling in the kitchen, loud enough for everyone in the dinning room to hear. Waste of time! I would have rather eaten Fazoli's, it was that bad! Never eat there, you have been warned.

My family and I ate here a couple weeks ago, and the food was very good. I had cavatelli and they had lasagna and we all enjoyed it. They give you a lot of food and we had to take it home. My family also had the soup and said it was very good, along with the dessert. We would recommend this place and go back again.

Riccelli's is proable one of the best Italian restaurants in Des Moines. I have ate there for years. the fried checken is wounderfully, I would say most things on the menu are great.

pretty gross really. It makes you feel very glutonous and cheap- the menu LOOKS great- but when you get the food its, not fresh tasting, TO LARGE of gross portions, sauces are not authentic. Overall NOT satisfied- Was like nursing home food only to be prepared by dirty drug users-. Carpet smells, the wait staff was really great- probably been there many years most likely through many different family owners- they just dont wanna leave cause they have been there forevr. BUT TRUST ME DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, time and and evening out on this place....! Chef Ramesy would probably not be able to save this place...DISGUSTING
