The Border Grill restaurant was founded in 1997 with the goal of bringing a fresher, healthier alternative to the restaurant spectrum in Marquette. Clearly, the market was ready for real food in our fast-casual format, as we have grown to three locations serving Marquette County. Fresh ingredients, made from scratch items, an open kitchen, marinated and grilled meats, and a friendly, caring service environment are the cornerstones of our success. It is very gratifying for all of us at Border Grill to hear the passion that our guests have about our restaurants. Border Grill seems to be a good fit for almost any dining occasion; lunch, dinner, business meeting or family gathering. We realize that everyone's day-to-day life can get very hectic, and we want to help you make sure your family is getting quality, healthy food that fits your lifestyle. Thanks for your continued patronage!
Over-priced, bland, small portions, not authentic whatsoever and if it wasn't for all the college kids who don't know any better and what real Mexican food is the place wouldn't survive. I'd drive all the way to Detroit's Mexican Town just for a meal at Xochimilco's or El Zocalo's where they serve REAL Mexican food at AFFORDABLE prices and walk out FULL with a to-go container or two. Mexican Town at the Porter St. exit rocks and serves Blue Margaritas to literally die for. So don't be a wuss and get downtown sometime and experience some outstanding exican food at Xochimilco's or El Zocalo's.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
I only once recall having my order messed us (a mig mistake.)
I ordered a veggie burrito, it came with both steak and chicken, good thing I am not a vegitarian.
I ate it anyway without mentioning it to the staff because I was hungry.
We have been visiting this restaurant for many years beginning when it was still in it's original location.
not a favorite of mine.., food always seems really bland.... i go wanting mexican and leave not fulfilled.. if u want real mexican drive down the road a bit and go to the the los three amigos... i think thats what its called, down by menards... but if u just want a quick bite to eat the place isn't bad i guess...
