Rice Paddy, Marquette

The greatest Thia food I have ever tasted. We travelled from Colorado to michegan and have never found food this good. Definately a 5 star food experience.

The Rice Paddy is my absolute favorite restaurant anywhere. The food is amazing and Aoy is always a joy to be around. Everything is made from scratch, and to order, which means she is very good at accommodating things like food allergies. Some people don't like that there is often a bit of a wait for your food, but I can guarantee that it is well worth it. Everything is reasonably priced and well portioned. Anything you order is going to be delicious, but I recommend Pad Thai and Cream Cheese Wontons (they are seriously to-die-for). Don't pass by this itty bitty building next time you're in Marquette, because The Rice Paddy is one addiction you'll be glad to have acquired.

As a native to Marquette, I remember when the Rice Paddy first opened. What a wonderful treat that was and still is. If you like extra extra hot...ask for her special hot sauce that she makes for her special customer, Jim. It is extremely hot...so be warned.

Its a small take out place with the most amazing Thai I have ever had! The owner Aoy makes everyone feel at home and greets them like her best friend. She makes all the food from scratch, homemade, and exactly to you order. also don't worry about getting small portions because she makes sure she gives you enough food to remember and save for the next day.
