Subs and Pizza anyone?
Since i was a little kid ambassador has been the place to go, and for good reason. I would suggest this place to anyone who visits the copper country as it is a landmark place, and probably one of the best restaurants in the entire U.P., however it just doesn't have the atmosphere that i like to dine in, the food is a bit higher priced than i need to spend, and the service is decent at best.
One problem Ambassador has is there soda, they offer you a soda for 1.50 or so, and it is a very small cup filled to nearly the top with ice. After you take your sip of soda and are down to the bottom, you have to pay to get it refilled again! There subs and pizza are also priced more than needed making it hard to get a good price for a smaller about of people. Another thing that makes it hard to eat there is there are so many seats right in the walkways so you are constantly trying to dodge people, this sets off the waitresses who have to work that much harder to get to there tables and that slowly but surely takes down there moral.
Overall, i like ambassador, i will go there, but it could use some work.
