Been going in for four years , Same owner , same people and the best soup and sandwhiches I have ever had. Such a warm and cozy place to sit and enjoy the best cup of cooffee or a meal. I have to say that it would be very hard to recreate such a wonderful atmoshere.
Moose-Jackson is my favorite place in town. The atmosphere is so welcoming, Eden, the owner, and the staff are wonderful, and the coffee and food is excellent. It is a progressive place that has unique and tasty food as well as many basics. It is extremely cozy and has internet access as well.
I don't understand the negatives at all. My only guess is that it is political because the owner was on the city council and there was a lot of nastiness going on. Don't blame the restaurant for differences in opinion! It is a wonderful place and we are lucky to have such a business in Iron Mountain.
The Moose is very deceiving. Its a nice comfortable cafe, but the espresso drinks are horrible and the food is over priced for its so/so quality. The staff is also rude and when they're busy they have no mind to help you. I've only like a couple employees there and built relationships with them but when I go back their gone. I've tried to like this place since I'm a veteran to this town and LOVE the spa next door, but ive given up.
