Well the Popeye's in the 1990's vs the popeye's in 2000's. In the 1990's the chicken was great, had great flavor, service was fast, more than 3 adults worked a shift and you could get your correct order. NOW in 2011 It takes anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes in the drive in, the chicken taste like they are dropping it in old lard to fry and then it sits under heating lamps for hours, the red beans and rice which was once my fav is now runny and tasteless. Its BAD and I don't mean good. I don't indulge alot in fast food but Popeye's was my guilty pleasure once in a while but now I think not, I'd rather drive 30 plus miles to Muskegon at eat at Lee's.
