Although their website & facebook page claim that they are proud of cooking each meal 'to order', this restaurant has refused to make simple accomodations (wipe down the grill before cooking to remove potential life-threatening allergens) or provide ingredient information to help a food-allergic patron to choose safe foods from their menu. The actual restaurant owner (who also owns the Norton Shores Dog n Suds) came out of the kitchen & into the parking lot to yell at me after I placed my order, telling me that he refused to serve us. I have, since, met another food-allergic family online who was verbally abused by this restaurant owner on *both occasions* that they ate at at his restaurant while vacationing in the area one year, then coming back again the next (thinking/hoping that the first occasion had simply been a 'bad day' for the man). As this is a tourist area & as the restaurant is somewhat of a tourist attraction, I would imagine that most people who eat there and who are abused there or refused service, don't bother to register complaints, as they know they will not be returning anyway. Judging by the response & treatment I've received from this restaurant owner, myself, I would guess that he feels the temporary/tourist customer is not worth his respect and not deserving of polite customer service, either, since they will not be repeat customers, anyway.
