Tip-A-Few Restaurant & Tavern, Grand Haven

Super menu. Appetizers are the best, the cheese & chips rule! Burritos are the best in W MI. Cheap pitchers, and knockout drinks! Interior hasn't changed in 35 years, except for the 6-7 big flat screens (sports-ugh!) and christmas lights on year round. lol. Service is always good, but the everyone has worked there about 35 years too! haha Highly recommended for visitors to the area, unique food, unique atmosphere, good prices.

We've been coming to grand haven since 1959, we,ve been going to Tip-A-Few for many years. If you've been there you know that the food is excellant(especially the chicken wet burrito). The drinks are very good (the long island ice teas are my favorite).We usually go as a big group, and they have always been very accomodating and very friendly. I would give them a 5 star, you won't be dissapointed.

You can never go wrong at the Tip. The food is good, the drinks are stiff and reasonably priced. Everything else from the crowd to the music to the decor is eclectic and wonderfully non-pretentious. The Tip is everything a local watering hole should be and pretty much nothing that it shouldn't be. A classic.

Good place for cheap drinks and getting drunk. Food is so-so... it's not really Mexican food, per se. Not many places in west Michigan make good Mexican food, but many of them try! There's a new place by the Lakes Mall called El Burrito that it much better. The waitstaff is pretty lazy and unfriendly but the drink pours are good. It depends on what you are looking for. If it's good Mexican, don't go to the Tip! ;)

The people are nice. Good food drinks are strong but cheep. A good place to go and hang out. You are n ot looked down on there.

My mom and I love this place for its great tacos and cold beverages! Try their twin tacos and burritos! Whenever we can get to Tip-a-Few we make a stop along our travels. We'd go out of our way to eat here!

The Tip is just one of those taverns that you can be yourself and just have a beer. You do not have to worry about what you are wearing and some would say it's a dive but I think it is a place to be comfortable. Have not tried the food yet but it has a reputation for being great!!

My husband and I visit here everytime in town. Excellent price, gotta try the Wet Burrito - it's Huge and delicious!!!!
