We drove a long distance to this acclaimed steak house. It was AWFUL! I could not cut nor eat my steak. We waited forever to get our food and everyone in our party of 5 was so disappointed with their meal. At least the manager took this mess off of my bill. We tried to feed it to the dog the next day and she declined. Enough said. Don t waste your money! It s horrible food.
I love Bill's Steakhouse!! I don't understand the people who critisize it at all. I found the service to be very good. I was there just yesterday with a group of 7. We did have about a 35 minute wait but that wasn't bad. They were very busy. My son has been going there for 15 years and said he's never had any complaints about the place.
IF YOU WANT GOOD SRVICE OR FOOD DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY EATING HERE. WAIT STAFF NOT FRIENDLY. THE BARTENDER WAS GREAT. THE WAITRESS AND THE GREATER HAD A PERSONALITY OF A WET MOP. WE HAD TEN PEOPLE IN OUR PARTY AND WAITED TO GET SEATED FOR ALOMOST 45 MIN. THEY WERE PLENTLY OF EMPTY TABLES.IT WAS ON A WED.
WHAT HAPPEN IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO EAT EIGHT MONTHS PAST. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS RESTURANT AGAIN. I WILL ALSO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. I OWNED A RESTURANT FOR OVER FIFTEEN YEARS, YOU MIGHT GET ME ONCE OR EVEN TWICE BUT YOU WON'T GET ME THE THIRD TIME.
HAVE A MEETING WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES. TELL THEM WITHOUT CUSTOMERS THEY WON'T HAVE A JOB AND RECIEVED THE BIG TIP THAT IS ADDED ON THE BILL FOR A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT TO ENJOY GOOD FOOD AND BE TREATED RIGHT.
WOW is all I have to say, I live in Ohio and I was up visiting an old friend a few weeks ago when they mentioned wanting to go to the famous Bills Steakhouse, I own a steakhouse myself so I was game to check out the famous Bills, I wasnt disappointed, I am jealous, The food, the service, the drinks, even the dessert was GREAT!!! As i read these reviews I cant believe they were at the same steakhouse as I was, and being a resturant owner I wish I new the secret that keeps everyone coming back to Bills (even in the bad reviews they mention going back wow) I will be back and I will be watching hoping to steal the secret of The FAMOUS BILLS STEAKHOUSE
Made my very first visit to Bill's Steakhouse this past Saturday. It was an hour drive and after reading some of the reviews, I was looking to be disappointed. However, the place was packed, and we were seated immediatly. Within an hour we had ordered, been served and had eaten our dinner. The food was fabulous. Salad, steak and baked potato. The waitress was there checking on us when we needed her, she got us everthing we asked for and was very curtious. (I gave her a good tip.)
So I don't know where all these bad reviews came from but, I would definatly make the hour drive again to eat at this steakhouse.
First, let me tell you, we have been and are regular loyal customers of Bill's Steak House in Bronson, MI, for about 5 years now. And, we live in nearby Coldwater, so we go there several times a month. Sadly, I have to say the food has not been as good as it once was, as the last couple of times we've gone, I've seen several things that could be improved upon. The last time we went, we had a rude and abrupt waitress, and as she is not new there, she has treated us twice with the same type of short abrupt attitude. It was early in the evening mid week, and the restaurant was not busy at the time. The food was OK, but the Brew City Fries, and Steak were less than hot. And, the other dinner we ordered, was just warm as well. The food was mediocre, even though we dropped over $60 dollars. We were disappointed in the food and the person serving us had other things on her mind. Bill's has been a good local restaurant in the past, as they give you more than enough food to eat, fast service, and normally polite and courteous waitresses. This last time, my husband was so angry, that he said he wanted to get up and leave, because of the waitress's mannerisms and attitude toward us. We both have experience in the restaurant and food industry, and feel that as a business owner, your first priority should be the customer. Happy customers come back. Upon saying this, Bill's Steak House needs to improve their customer relations, starting with some of the waitressing staff, (they need a stern reprimand, and additional training), and watch the quality of the food being sent out to the tables. It's not just quantity and fast food preparation that makes a place notable. We will go again, as it's possible they have been having staffing or kitchen problems, however they need to clean up their act, or we'll be frequenting Bill's Steak House less often in the future.
My husband and I drive down from jackson at least a couple times a year and we just love thier food it is just worth the 1 and 1/2 drive to eat there we walk out of there soooo full I cant breath. just thought you would like to know..
