Heads up! I ordered two fish and chip dinners there tonight and was charged $13.98 per dinner instead of the $11.99 that was listed on the menu. The hostesses told me they had just increased their menu prices so be wary when you order and confirm the menu prices beforehand.
Lousy rude service, cold food with a poor texture, so-so flavor and a waste of time and money.
Will not return as the couple we went with said that they were trying it out again to see if it had improved and has not.
Another place that has decided music that is loud enough to push the roof off is good enough to make up for lousy food.
The breadsticks was salty old and hard. And the ribs was dry and tasted old too. I love ribs and the ones I had did not stand up. The staf was Average too. To say you have cornbread butt not serve it well thats just something.
THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. THE FOOD IS MADE FROM SCRATCH AND YOU TASTE THE DIFFERENCE. YOU GET SO MUCH YOU COULD SPLIT EVERYTHING. AND TO THE PERSON WHO'S REVIEW GAVE 3 STAR BECAUSE THE HAVE UP CHARGES ON BLU CHEESE ETC. WHERE DO THEY EAT? THAT'S DONE EVERYWHERE. PRICES ARE NOT HIGH WHEN YOU FACTOR IN YOUR MEAL COMES WITH BREAD, SALAD, AND VEGGIE. MOST PLACES CHARGE EXTRA FOR THAT. BILLY'S IS FUN, VERY CLEAN, AND THERE IS ALWAY SOMETHING GOING ON. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN YOU MUST GO. IF YOU DON'T LIKE CROWDS GO SUNDAY, MONDAY OR WEDNESDAYS THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.
Billy's is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area as far as entertainment and FOR SURE for the food. Upon entering Billy's, the smell of ribs on the smoker will make your mouth water. Be sure to get there early on Friday and Saturday. The bar staff rocks. The owners are also pretty cool.
Its close to home but the prices are pretty high... there are extra charges for everything! You want blucheese dressing... add $1, you want clam chowder... add $2. Food is good. Serivce is sometimes good, sometimes bad. Nice atmoshere... not nice managment. Music is always REALLY loud when there is a live band.
Ahh, Billy's. Home to some of the best comfort food and friendly people around! What's not to like -- the homey atmoshphere, the strong drinks, the cheesy sing-alongs on Thursday nights, and the prime location right on M-59. If you haven't been here yet, give it a try. But be careful on the weekends - it's very, very popular with the locals (especially when Alpine Valley is open during the winter)
