The food quality is bad. Look like they don t care the business.

I read the other glowing reviews here but, as someone who lived in Hong Kong for 3 years, I couldn t disagree more. Even by standards of the buffets right here in Walled Lake area, I thought it was below average in food quality. I don t think it s a coincidence that the clientele were all Americans and no Chinese. That should tell you something. The service was good, though.

I love Chinese Buffets, I go to them in towns all over the country. This one rates 5 stars, Very good, outstanding for a buffet, There are othes as good but there are a lot that don t have the selection or as good food..

nice i like this place the crab legs are good and the sweet rolls i like them to another thing that is good is the bbq chicken they have in lil pieces

I have been here a few times. Food was pretty good and the selection was decent. Service was mediocre; they collected the plates not much more, so okay. Since the last time I came in they changed one of the bar tables to a sushi bar which is awesome. Lunch price is pretty cheap, but dinner on the weekends is a bit expensive if you're not all that into crab legs and oysters. Food: Good Service: Mehh Price: Good

Gourmet Buffet has a nice variety of food! My only complaint is that the Mongolian Beef was slightly salty in my 1st serving but after the 2nd it was delicious! I especially like the Crispy Chicken & BBQ ribs!

I like the gourmet buffet, me & my mom come here all the time 2 eat. We like the food. I do have 2 agree that the stuff is kinda rude & do have there kids running around but as long as they dont run around me while Im eating we're all good. Besides the rudeness & the kids, it ok with me.

I was hoping this place was good but it was awful. Majority of the food was over-cooked. There was no consistency on the cooking within a single entree. I had to go find my waitress to get the bill when I was leaving. Some of the chicken dishes were cold by the time you got table and the “Sushi” was chewy. Two times I spit out the food. Just stay away.

I have visit this restaurant several times and every time I go, the food tastes like it has been sitting out for hours and hours. I would much rather go to the mall just across Novi Road and order from Lotus Express in the food court for fresher tasting food. However, if you're starving and want to eat a lot for a low price, Gourmet Buffet is excellent for lunch.

With a very wide selection of lunch & dinner buffets, a Mongolian BBQ, Salad Bar, Desert Bar(Chinese), Sushi & the cliche Ice Cream machine you get alot for your money.(Basically This is a copy of Panda Buffets Description, because it is basically Panda Buffet) -:Certian aspects need to be touched upon..The emplloyees childern are always in the booths causing a commotion. Also a minor suggestion would be, just like at Panda Buffet, would be to get the pop choices more accurate, While they do serve a variety of Coke Products it always is hard to get what you wanted, and never ask for lemon you never get it in your drink. Food-Good, a buffet is a buffet Ambiance-Don't be fooled by its outer appearance the inside is very nice, with a water fountain and neon lights Service-Mediocre Value-Good Lunch $7, Slightly high but okay $12 for Dinner
