I actually disagree with all of these posts. I had a fine expierence for my birthday dinner. I went there last night with my wife, she ordered the Catfish and Brisket and enjoyed them both. I orded the Montgomery Ribs and loved them. Even tender the next day after reheating. I own a small business and see 8-10 clients a day and will be recommending this place to everyone!!! The owner introduced himself as he seated us and checked on us once through our expierence. (Don t remember his name, I am awful with names) Nice touch!!! The change to B.B.Q in my mind is a success, just needs time and proper marketing to catch its stride. Wait staff was prompt and helpful. Ask my wife, usually I am a staunch critic, but was pleased.
I agree with the previous posters..., we were there on a Saturday night and the service was awful, place was empty and our waitress was a cool breeze. She had no personality and clearly did not want to be there. I got the mac and cheese topped with brisket, it was nothing more than the frozen kind you throw in the microwave, topped with fatty brisket that I couldn t even chew. My husbands brisket did NOT have the smoke ring and he said there was no flavor at all. I knew it wouldn t be authentic BBQ when we got out of our car in the parking lot and you couldn t smell the smoke. I think Ginopolis had a good thing going when they were Greek... switching to their so called BBQ has obviously not worked. The place was dead on a Saturday night and now I know why. Sorry, we won t be back.
Terrible! The service was slow and food terrible. The fish was inedible - not fully cooked. I wasn't about to send it back because it took a long time to get it in the first place. The server wouldn't take my kids' orders early. They were the last of our party to be served. Really - how long does a grilled cheese take to make?
Ordered the kabob and requested that it be cooked medium well. When I received my food, I cut into one of the pieces and it was bleeding. I cut into a second one and it too was bleeding. When I said something to the waiter, his response was that he couldn't do anything about it because I had already cut into it. What did he expect? How else would I know that it was uncooked. I ended up asking for a box and taking it home to cook it properly. What a fun evening I had watching everyone else eating their dinners.
If you want Great service this is a place you need to go they have been serving people with respect for many years Try it you will love it I know because I have been going there for a long time get to know the owners then you write about this place and the food and ribs are out of this world
