Ate at noon, only two waitresses and they were swamped. Ordered a chicken melt, chicken was rubbery and the bread was stale. Bottom of sandwich was soggy and waterlogged despite not being able to find the mystery sauce which was causing the mess. Kitchen looked filthy from where I sat. Should have ate at the nearby L. Georges. Despite a change in ownership, it is one of the cleanest and well run metro Detroit coney.
This is a grrrrrreat breakfeast and lunch spot, if you want a great tasting meal at a reasonable price, then look no further. This restraunt has consistantly the best breakfeast in town. Tuesday is coney day for a $1.10 each. Waitreses are friendly, and they actually smile when they greet you, imagine that. Mike the owner, knows how to treat his customers, and takes a lot of pride in the meals he prepares. got to go im going to get some breakfeast, can you guess where.?
Stop in on Tuesdays for reduced price Coney-dogs and their Greek salad with grilled chicken is very good. They are mostly a lunch place and close in the late afternoon. Drop in grab lunch its worth it, if you live / work in the area, carryout can be nice.
