Heroes Bar-Bq & Brew, Waterford

My family used to go there for new years every year large group from 8 to 15 people every year. For some reason about 3 or 4 years back the food started to just suck. We gave them a couple more chances but dont go there any more. When your putting 2-300 down for food and service you should not have to ask if the meat is rotten.

Food is fantastic. We had a great meal and great service. I know that it is tough to accommodate everyone, but there were many smokers and it was a bit smoky in the non-smoking section. Other than that, great place.

Best Restaurant in the area! There is not a bad item on the menu. The best Alfredo ever and the portions are generous.Homey atmosphere. Tim Nick has made this a warm ,friendly and inviting place to be. Give it a try,you'll be hooked!

Love the food, great steaks and chicken fingers is one of the best around. fries are great too, beer is resonable, and great Detroit sports mem. on the wall's. staff is friendly too, my great aunt is 96 and we take her there and they treat her like a queen. A+++

We eat here at least once a month. The food is very good, you always want to check out the specials. The service is outstanding, always very attentive, without being pushy. The wide spectrum of customers tell you that they appeal to a wide audience.

First, I will tell you waht I like about Heroes. For starters they have the best Bloody Mary in SE Michigan. I recommend the larger version, but only one. The Delmonico steak is cooked to perfection every single time, and so deliciously flavored and burgers are worth a try. The ribs are decent too. Fish entrees are also winners here. Skip the baked potato and order the fries because they are golden brown potato sticks of goodness. Try the $10 mac 'n' cheese and let me know how it tastes. Service here is consistantly good and well paced. Potentially, the drawbacks are the larger than usual smoking section near the bar area which you must wait in for your table. Parking, although adequate, is sometimes a nightmare during the busy times of the night. OK, I know it's me, but I can't stand places that give you the mini loaf of bread. Again, it's me. The place is almost always busy, so it's also louder than most places you'll eat. The place has big screens as if it's a sports bar. But it's not a sports bar. Say high to L. Brooks Patterson when you're in there. He's a regular after 6PM.
