I can t wait to get back to Detroit to try the food here. Looks wonderful. I hope to be back there in the spring so can t wait to eat there. Just watched the show on Pbs and can t wait to be there.

Food is good, servers are good, the only thing lacking is it need to be remodeled and updated, but atmosphere is nice. Food is breakfast, lunch and dinner 5 star food

Connie and Barbara s is not a hole in the wall ,its a whole lot of love for people, owned an operated by black women for 19 years there are way more smiling faces that leave the restaurant then there are sad the food is great and the crowd that comes in confirm its true . go there for youself and u will see they have the bomb salmon , steak , and kool aid an dam those dinners are great to

ive been going to connies since the 1990's the food is the bomb it is a hole in the wall the best salmon and 3 dollar breakfast including coffee. the staff are great its sort of a cheers enviornment....no roaches as a matter of fact their crowd comes in sets...the seniors are in there around 6 till 9 and u know the young folks will b there after check out tyme...lol its a good eat

I've been to this resturant and yes, it might be small, but the service was good and the food was MARVELOUS!! And I say this as a person that doesnt desire 'soul food' often, or at all. But mother took me and I so ENJOYED the food!! GR8 FOOD, CONNIE & BARBARA!!

If you had a long night and the party hasn't stopped then stop into this place because they have the BEST food! And the price is sooooooooo right!

Great food and good service!

Connie and Barbara's Soul food is a great breakfast spot on the weekend. They have good southern breakfast, good service, and is always off the chain. Make sure you come dressed to impress because there will be a lot of people there and all eyes will be on you if you are not! So if you want a good breakfast and don't mind being around a lot of people eat at Connie and Barbara's.......

OMG!!! talk about good ole eats with a good ole atmosphere, this is for more of an older crowd that loves the blues, and chit chattung with some hometown folks, their salmon patties with rice and eggs are to die for. The juke box selection will knock you back for old time sake. I would not have a bad thing to say about this restaurant except they need more space LOL.
