Along with its good live Raggae, Blues and Alternative Rock music, The Well in Downtown Detroit is appreciated for its friendly service and reasonably priced menu. It caters to its customers needs and is a fun hangout session with close friends after a long tiring day. With easily accessible parking and such if you're in Corktown, a visit to The Well a friendly neighborhood bar, is a must.
First time at this place on opening day. Only good for ages 21-24 on a day like this I saw. Drinks were horrible, service was rude with the worst security I've ever seen. The security dude at the door thought it was more important to mess with the girls then take care of the guys that needed to be sent home, guess he was scared of them!! Place was filthy with puddles of beer everywhere. There are so many better bars down there. I will never be back.
My favorite bar in Detroit! Laid back crowd in bustling Greektown area, bartenders are like your best friends, drinks are strong and cheap, you can even dance if you want to! My friends and I love it after Tigers games or even fill the place up with friends for our birthdays! I'm sure I'll be back soon.
Wow! what a great place. We sat outside for hours after the Tiger game. Time flies when you're throwing down brews at The Well. They have the coolest staff ever. The bartenders are so friendly you'd think you went to high school with them. Can't wait for opening day!!
