this restaurant has been a local favorite for years. I love going there because it is dark and intimate. The salsa is some of the best i have had and the that flaming cheese is slamming. If you have not been to mexican town before this should be your first stop
My BF and I went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve and in short this is a terrible restaurant. If you are looking for tasty Mexican food, this is not the restaurant to choose. If you would like a good margarita, then by all means, enjoy the drink.
Generally speaking, I think the reason why this got such high ratings is because it is in Michigan. This restaurant wouldn't make it in California and the Southwest because the food is so poor in comparison to a basic hole in the wall restaurant in many Southwest towns.
I ordered enchiladas and they put NO SAUCE on the enchiladas. The only other time I have had enchiladas without any sauce was a really really bad restaurant in Dearborn.
I'm shocked that the ratings for this restaurant are so high and I would like this review to serve as a warning to those who are expecting good quality Mexican food.
