No problems here, Young s was closer to us but these ribs are worth traveling for. I have tried to duplicate the sauce, have come close but not quite on the mark.

I had ribs from Parks and I was also told they were the same as Youngs, they were dried out and no meat on the bones was like eating jerky, the sauce was the same and it was very good. What a lot of people don t know is that the original Young was a Chinese man back about one hundred years ago.

I just got two half chickens and they were horrible. If I didn't live so far I would take it back. It is almost to dried out to eat. Parks use to be the bomb back in the day. With food like that it's amazing their still in business. Do not waste your money!

Every time I return to Detroit, Parks is one of the first places I go. It's the Motor City treat I miss most.

I had this barbeque when I moved to Detroit unless I am missing something it was a salty batch of paprika, and hot sauce. I remember driving down the Blvd with the window down spitting out the salty mess. I cannot believe they have been in business for so long, don't like salty sauce..Salty and Sweet maybe..They do not know how to play on flavors....YUCK

I used to work on Grand Blvd, but have left Detroit and the State. This is the best BBQ I've ever eaten. And I've eaten BBQ in San Francisco, Barcelona, Madrid, various towns in France, Seattle, Los Angeles, etc. I've tried to duplicate their sauce but have never succeeded.

Love Love Love their Ribs! Getting ready to move south and will miss the sauce! Thinking about ways to travel with enough to last a few months until I come back to visit. If you love hot and spicy their hot sauce would be great! It's an eye opener to say the lease.
