Los Galanes offers the total package in Mexicantown. The menu consists of all your Mexican favorites, all incorporating their famous handmade tortillas. Any typical Mexican dish you can imagine, they have it on the menu, including some that have authentic versions as well as their Tex-Mex counterparts. The full bar serves up delicious margaritas and more. In addition to the family-friendly dining, Los Galanes also offers live musical entertainment and dancing, although be advised children are not permitted on the dance floor.
This Used to be our favorite place to eat. They got rid of the buffet last summer, wich was a great value and a good way to sample some new things. Who can beat all u can eat tamales for @ $8.00 ? WE raved about this place to some friends and took them down ther for lunch. Boy were we dissapointed. I was actually embarresed for having told them how good this place was.The food was pretty bad compared to what it was. the portions were lame (tacos half size what they used to be) .The service was terrible also, it seemed our waitress had an attitude and couldnt be bothered with anything other than taking our order and bringing our meal. Maybe she doesnt like gringos.I dont know if there has been an ownership change or what but I can say well be on the hunt for a new mexican town resturaunt. We wont be back to this one.
Best Mexician Food in town!!!!: I know you have been to them all and everyone loves Xocimilcos. NOT!!! Xoci's is like taco bell to Los Galanes. Great buffet everyday, great service and great ambience. Dancing upstairs on Friday nights is like stepping into Mexico itself. Bring your cowboy boots, hats and riding jeans. This place is a gem of a restaurant, VERY authentic. Even the Mexician locals eat there. YUM!YUM! EAT THE GOAT DISH ___ITS AWSOME
best buffet in the whole state of michigan!
i definitely recommend this, and its super

but full and 100% satisfied :-) ! but leave some
some room for the bakery across the street!
