I eat at New Center Eatery every Sunday an have had a pleasant experience on each visit.Their service must have greatly improved over the years,as i have never had a bad experience.
Their pancakes, waffles, omelletes, sandwiches, and soups are all very good.Their somewhat smaller portions are more than made up for by the high quality ingredients.
The only problem that I have with New Center Eatery is the price of their juice. $2.50 for a 10oz serving of juice??? Word??
When the New Center Eatery first open they were great, although they did have plastic ware, the food was good and the wait staff was pleasant, they even had good looking carry outs. It seems as if they were going to be one of the Top Breakfast spots that you could look forward to going to daily. Very good location in a busy business area. As time went on I notice a change after a few years with the cooks, the wait staff and the food. Maybe management change.
The service was poor, extremely poor, the food was less than satisfactory. Poor management is what I experienced along with some other customers. I will not be be back unless some drastic changes are made.
The food is great. The staff could be a little more friendlier and act as if they are more happier to see customers when they come in. The main menu item is the chicken wings and waffles. When they first open they had plastic plates and forks. I can remember if the last time I went if they had real dishes or not.
I just love the food. There are some things that could change, for one the staff I've had the pleasure to experience Uptown eatery (Great) and I must say there is a difference.New Center Eatery the waitors/watresses are not very kind they just look at you when you come in its not a very friendly atmosphere.I think this really takes away from the restaurant because the food is very good.I would definitely pick up food again, but will never dine in.
