Great Lake Chinese Seafood, Ann Arbor

The food is ok but too expensive and rude service. Silverware are dirty, I saw them wipe with their dirty hand before they give it to customer. Always mess up your order when u call them.

The food is uniformly salty and greasy. It also sports horrible ambiance. There are no windows, and you enter through a side door that looks like a warehouse entry. I am still disappointed by the Chinese restaurants in Ann Arbor. Being from Taiwan, it gals me what passes for Chinese around here.

It's a great resturante. If you go before 4 you can get a great deal on the lunch specials...that are almost the size of the dinner!!!

I loved their dimsums. It's wonderful. especially the steamed dumpling. Other dimsums are good too. But the service is the poorest in Ann Arbor. Server in the restaurant just threw dishes and don't say thank you when they take the money on the table. What's wrong with them?

Good restaurant to eat. They have Dim Sum on weekend till 3pm. They serve it on weekdays too, but only limited selections. The best is the Scallop rice roll. Very authentic compared to the Hong Kong style cooking at seafood restarants. Good Choice. Best around the area. Can't go wrong. The place is kind of dirty though. But if you're asian you'll be fine with it. I'm from Hong Kong so I'm used to it.

My husband and I eat here often. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful. We always order the house soup to start, which is invariably delicious. Our favorites are steamed black cod and the fried rice with salt cod & chicken. The food is consistently delicious, with many option that are not available in most chinese restaurants. Prices are reasonable. We have never been disappointed.

The service is good. The food is good. Tables are clean. Plus the waiter/waitress are very kind. The bill is fair. I think it sould get at least 6 stars!

Chinese people tend to care about the food and not about the atmosphere. Well, unless the restaurant is made to be overly sophisticated for non-Chinese customers in San Francisco. In addition to that, Cantonese food is what you will find. There is even dim sum at lunch. Forget the buffet. Have some real Chinese food.
