Tios Restaurant, Ann Arbor

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Those were the worst nachos I ever had, I can make them better and for half the price, I will NOT go back there!!!

I have been to Mexican restaurants all over the United States. Some have been mediocre and some have been great. Tios is the worst Mexican restaurant i have ever been. I wont make this mistake again and urge that you do not either unless you want to spend $18 on a bag of chips (nachos). The taco shells and chips are store bought. The fixings are non existent. Taco Bell would have been a better choice and I hate Taco bell!!

First trip to Tios will be the last. I was very excited to go, but disappointed after. Wish chips and salsa was included, but that's not a big deal. The only part of the meal I really liked was the beans, and I don't usually like beans. These had a good flavor to them. I ordered a combo plate, and the food was dry and just OK, not great. My biggest disappointment was the sangria. If you are a fan of real sangria and have had it in Mexicantown, DON'T GET IT HERE. It was bitter and gross. I left almost all of it in the glass. I thought it was very pricey as well. Not worth the money. I'll drive to Canton to go to Mexican Fiesta over this place.

While I agree that it is way to expensive for what you get, the food has been good everytime I have eaten at Tios. The chicken they use in the various dishes is very tasty, and the salsas are all good as well. I especially like the different tacos including the fish. It is better than other AA Mexican restaurants but definitely not better than others outside AA. Enjoy!

"I don't think the owners should be fussed about what is written on here, just look at the walls in the store. They have won Best mexican in Ann Arbor for something like 15 of the last 17 years. Pretty impressive if you ask me." All I have to say about that comment is... All you need is a computer and a printer and laminate and you get your awards every year.... Titos had to move from e huron... so what do they do they ask their customers to pay for it! they own at least three restaurants in ann arbor and they want us to pay for the move... whats that all about? what nerve they have... you make all the money then when you have to payout some you flip us the bill! Ill never eat there again... the gull I hope your ashamed of yourself... had you lost all your stores and only one left maybe I could see this... but come right out and ask me to pay for your move cause you dont want to pay for it

The beef tacos and Spanish rice are horrible! My daughter said the tacos I make at home are better. The cornbead and fish tacos were pretty good. Not a restaurant I would visit often.

People in Ann Arbor seem to either love this place or hate it. I'm not a fan.

Very bland, no flavor, you will pay $10 for a tub of refried beans! You might get a little rice too if you pay a few dollors extra but the quality still stays at about a zero. I'm not a fan of taco bell but I'll go there before tios.

possibly the worst restaurant experience i've had in A2 in three years. how on earth they secured a "Best in Ann Arbor" plaque is beyond me...

I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering from this place. We asked how large the portions were and were lied to so that we ordered too much food. The prices are way too high for junky mexican food. The cheese wasn't even fresh and the chips were stale. YUK!
