Absolutly the best place in town! Everything is always great. I talk about this place so much and reccomend it to so many people, they should be paying me. Personally, I don't like Mexican food at all (this place is no Mexican), but the combination of flavors and ingredients of things I don't usually eat drive me crazy. I wish this place was open all night!
Very small place, so sometimes seating takes awhile. Overall a good place to eat. The warm cheese and pepper salad is the bomb! I've always had goos service and good food her. Some of the food is a little bit expensive (but not outrageous).
So we were excited when we heard there was a great mexican place in AA.... We have been there 3 times and have been disppointed. How does a mexican place mess up black beans? One evening they were so undercooked it was not edible. The only upside is that they do have good margarittas
I loved the outdoor patio seating in the back of the restaurant. Even on the hot day, it was nice to be outside in the covered, flowering garden. The food was superb! My husband ordered salmon and shrimp quesadillas which he loved. I ordered a smaller version of a chicken and scallops plate with a sweet coconut sauce on top of the chicken. It came with a variety of side dishes all of which were flavorful and delicious!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food alone -the atmosphere is also nice!
I must admit that when it comes to Ann Arbor it's hard for a Columbus Ohio native to come up with something positive to say, yet being an avid connoisseur of chicken fajitas, I must give credit where credit is due. It has been nearly 2 years since I have been back and as often as I eat fajitas, I still recall my fondest sizzling experience. Top notch fajitas 'peared' up with a margarita...it might just be worth a return to this city. Go Bucks!! SM + JH
Interesting menu posted at door brought us in. Ideas that sounded good were poorly executed.Chef needs too focus. The plating was awful, with too many bland flavors melding into one congealed mess.Sometimes less is more- too many things going on on the plate. Looked as if they had to wipe the cutting boards down and the result was on my plate. There is no margarita that good that can cover up food this bad. Friendly server, though, who was very attentive. Not only would I not recommend it to others I'm tempted to stand out front and tell people save their money. Only for those with the palate of a goat.
Like most restaurants in Ann Arbor, this one is completely mediocre. We went there expecting excellent food, and got sub-par instead. The items on the menu looked enticing, but the tastes were unimpressive. If you have an unsophisticated palette you might like it.
The service was also mediocre. Our server forgot many of requests and disappeared for much of the meal. I think we'll return if every other restaurant in Ann Arbor is closed.
