El Charro Mexican Restaurant, Evansville

In my opinion, this is the best authentic mexican food available in Evansville. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are big enough that I almost always bring home leftovers, as does my husband.

MY FAMILY AND I LOVE THEIR FOOD, THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST MEXICAN RESTERAUNTS IN EVANSVILLE, THEY HAVE THE BEST SALSA AND CHIPS, AND YOU ALWAYS GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH AND ALWAYS WALK OUT FULL. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND FAST. I HAVE YET TO SEE A UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER IN THERE.

This restaurant serves traditional Mexican food. It is a favorite place that myself and friends like to eat at. The service is very good and the food is too. Their meals are very, very reasonable. It's fun to sit outside in nice weather at their umbrella tables to have a meal. The staff are courteous and very attentive. It is a smaller restaurant where you can have an enjoyable meal. I recommend it.

Great lunch specials. Prices pretty much match other authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. A little bland for my taste, but still good food.

Not as good as Los Bravos,but their main courses are not expensive,desert can cost between $1.50 and $5.00.Its very authintic,but isnt the best.

El Charro Rocks! Their Mexican food is top notch, and the staff is friendly and courteous. The prices are reasonable. You won't regret a trip to El Charro.

This place has the very best Mexican food in the tri-state. You can't beat the $5.50 anything on the menu lunch incliding a drink.
