Mary Lou Donuts, Lafayette

Just got back from my first time there. I know it's only donuts but they were awesome. Good coffee, also. Only drawback could be they aren't open Sundays but I guess everyone needs a day off (Mon-Sat 5AM-5PM presently). It is a small place and can get crowded quickly but they work well together to get people their orders and the prices are very reasonable. Edit: Went again recently, sat at the table on the side and was totally ignored by everyone in the place. But everyone in the takeout line and those whom the staff knew sitting at the counter were waited on promptly. Had to have been almost 15 minutes. Only upon leaving did someone come near me and when I mentioned this to the kid he totally blew me off and didn't say a word. Have not been back since (almost two months and never will). I thought every customer counted, esp. in this economy. Yes, I know the place is busy but to pick and choose whom gets to order is ridiculous. I actually hope someone who works there reads this. And I lower the star rating from five to one.

Omg they have the best donuts in the world!! I have traveled a lot and by far they are the best! Every time I come back home from minnesota the first place i go is mary lou!! Once you have had one of these donuts all others will not taste good i promise!! I love mary lou and i will continue to go there as soon as i get into indiana every single time!!!

There are not enough stars to say how great their donuts are. I was hooked after my first time going to get donuts. My roommate and I used to get up early every saturday morning just to get donuts there and anytime I'm going to be in the area I always make a trip by Mary Lou's. I've had donuts from west coast to east coast and these are still my favorite(glazed yeast ftw).

Best donuts I ever had. They may not smile at you much, and the place is pretty cramped, but the donuts make up for it all. The apple fritters are my favorite - they're huge! One of them fills up an entire dinner plate! Two people can have a great breakfast for under $3.

The flavor was great.The donuts were really fluffy compared to elsewhere that I have had in Lafayette and probably in my whole life. Friendly people. Affordable prices. Fast Service.I will always get my donuts from Mary Lou's
