I have eaten at numerous restaurants throughout the U.S. and around the world. Black Angus is by far the best of them all. It's not cheap by any means, but it's important to remember that you get what you pay for. The steaks and seafood are totally AWESOME!!! The service is outstanding and the servers are very professional and always seem to have a great personality. I highly recommend the Black Angus and if you like steak, be sure to try the filet that is out of this world!
This place is not to be beat! I have been to many fine restaurant's all over the country; and let me tell you - this place can compete with all of them. In fact; despite living in Terre Haute; it was a waiter at Ruths Chris in Indianapolis who sold us on the place (we always felt we 'had' to go to Indy to get great food!). Kelly does a phenomenal job!
Since this restaurant changed ownership in late 2007, it has quickly become my favorite place to eat. The new owners have made countless changes, from a refined swanky interior to serving some of the best food in the midwest. The steaks are fantastic , the salmon is the best I have ever had and the service is top notch. If you live anywhere near Terre Haute and have not tried this place yet, you need to make a reservation.
