Pood's Restaurant & Pub, Princeton

I travel all over the country,,, Pood's is awesome. Yes it is a small town resturant. However it stacks up against some of the big $$ I have been to. No it is not a Fast Food, No it is not typical. You will not get menue boredom there. I promise you it is not like any boring same in Indy, New Orleans, Louisville or St Louis chain resturant. This is a honest review. Go there for a get away, go there for something unique. Just walk past the smoking area first to get to non-smoking. I guess that adds it character. Just good people serving food for your hard earned money which you will know good meal for your dollars spent

Other reviews seemed to be a little over the top. Not excellend, not bad. Good for a small town like Princeton. Never had a problem or food as bad as stated in the other posts. Would recommend if looking for a sit down type of place in Princeton.

for princeton it is ok compared to all the fast food places but i have eaten better meals in county jail

3 of my friends and I had New Years eve dinner here and it was wonderful. Very friendly service and the food was really delicious. Whatever you do,don't miss the great pie. It is made right there , non of the glorified foam, it's the real thing.

Yes this place has been here for many years, and it is starting to show. Along with some of the staff. Neither can seem to handle the business that it tries to bring in. I came in with some friends one night to get something to eat. The people weren't that nice and the food could have been much better. You HAVE to have drink beer with it to cover up the taste. I have had much better food from other places in the area. And if you actually want food I suggest trying one of them instead. Sorry can't think of any good points.

This resturaunt has been here for many years,my aunt Shirley once worked here. I've been here once w/ friends and liked the atmosphere. Alcohol is served here, for those who like a beer or other spirits w/ dinner. Pood's opens around lunch hour mon-fri. Worth visiting.
