Angelo's, Evansville

It is by far the best Italian joint in Evansville. Little Italy used to be my favorite, but they closed. Angelo's has fabulous pasta and rolls!! I highly recommend it!

I don't go downtown much, but I would make the trip again for the Rigatoni Carbonara and a glass of Lambrusco...my son took me here for lunch one day and I was very surprised....good value too

will never eat there again. we had a wedding rehersal dinner downstairs. the room was nasty, lights did not work, and the bathrooms at walmart are in better condition then these. not to mention they were not going to serve us non-alcholics drinks, like coke and dt coke. the guy got all hasty when we said that we will not be using the bar. which they knew that when the party was booked. they had one so called bartender for 30 people. my parents had to serve the drinks and we had to use styrofoam cups. my parents were completely embarrased. i had better food at fazoli's. i also had to tell the guy to be quiet b/c we were praying over our meal. they also did not have enough dessert to go around b/c the guy said they had to save it for the people coming in up stairs. for the price tag it is not worth time and effort to find a parking space in downtown evansville to eat there.

I like this place too. The food is great and the hospitality is warm.

This is my favorite place to eat for lunch, they have an awesome lunch special that includes their carbonara (I can't remember the exact name) and lasagna, a fresh salad that includes olives, red onions and tomatoes, and two of the yummiest rolls that are brushed with an olive oil mixture. They also have a house dressing that is so good, I even asked Angelo if I could buy some. My favorite is the carbonara, but you can get, with the lunch special, a half order of each so you can try them both. I give Angelo's 5 stars!

Wonderful place to eat! I would give it 5 stars! Great food, wonderful service. Prices were not bad at all my husband and I ate there, 2 dinners (salad and bread) and an appetizer for around $35 well worth every penny.

there service is top notch,wonderful food,great wine list i had a wonderful time there the only downside was it is a little pricey but all in all its a wonderful place
