Carver's Family Restaurant, Richmond

Avoid this restaurant! We stopped for breakfast and the hostess/waitress was rude and acted like she was more concerned about playing on her computer than serving. The food was nothing that wonderful and the prices were a little high. Definitely somewhere to avoid when looking for a good family style restaurant.

I dine frequently.The employees greet everyone with a smile, and try to get to know everyone that visits often. The atmosphere is bright and inviting especially for a family meal, gatherings or even a snowy day by yourself or with a friend for warm food to fill your belly. The food is delicious, and the portions heaping. It's a family oriented, family owned business that distinguishes itself in our local community by providing service unlike any chain restaurant for certain!

Portions are big, and taste great. The dining room a little crowded, but otherwise, I'd go back.

My family loves Carver's. It's a quiet atmosphere and you won't get lung cancer by eating here. There is a large selection of entrees and you get way more than you pay for. Everything I've tried is delicious. When we have family in town, we always bring them to Carver's for dinner and everyone loves it. We've not had any trouble with the wait staff as other reviewers mentioned. I've not met the owners, but who cares if they are not friendly? How many times do you really need to speak to the owners of a restaurant unless you're already upset and complaining about something? I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I frequently do.

I've only eaten there a few times because when I did it was home cooked food without the feel of being cared for! the food was bland and expensive. no wonder everyone just drives past

Not a place I tell people about. The onwers are VERY VERY rude, act like they're doing you a favor by eating there. Food is average at best and tends to lean towards not being very good. I highly suggest you just drive past this place.

This place has awesome food but since they went to no smoking we do not go there anymore. If you are a non-smoker and like good food, this is a good place to eat. The greek food is delicious. TO BAD THEY WENT TO NON-SMOKING.
