resturant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/14/07
The room was nice and clean. Enjoyed the stay. But don't go to the resturant, overpriced, dirty dishes, food looks like it came straight out of a can.

Nice setting! Fun for the whole family! Although the fall is great, the other seasons are wonderful too!

LOVE LOVE LOVE.....
By Christi W, 11/13/09
we stayed in the lodge on our anniversary weekend. we took all our kids. they loved the water park and I got to take a nap while daddy took them to the waterpark so I love it to. we ate breakfast at the little gem resturant. my family really liked it and the park is beautiful. We are planning another trip on Nov 20th-21st. so we can do some christmas shopping in Nashville. I love everything about the lodge. thanks christi w.

Love the Park, Hate the Food
By Lukeaa, 6/30/08
Brown County State Park is lovely. The hotel and food operation at the lodge is totally incompetent. This lodge is the perfect example of why state parks hotels should be bid out to private contractors. Most of the staff should be fired, but they are all state employees and you know where that leads.

The water park is small but nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/23/09
We stayed in one of the family cabins - #11. It surely needs a good spring cleaning and is overpriced for what it offers. Unfortuanatley we ate at the Abe Martin Lodge - the food is terrible. The park is beautiful.

The Inn was terrific, the food not...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/23/07
Our room at the Abe Martin Lodge was very nice, very clean and had comfortable beds. We stayed for three days in November and enjoyed the fireplace in the upper lounge. We ate in the dining room there once. The price was very steep and the food (buffet) on a Wednesday evening was not remarkable. We ate at the Casa del Sol and the Hob Nob after that and had wonderful food and the prices were much less expensive. We will definitely go back to the Inn, hopefully next fall.

Cabin in the Forest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/20/07
Cabin # 19 was our spot in the woods. Very spacious, clean, updated, quiet, no complaints, except the cookware! Pans not acceptable for cooking! All other items fine. We were in a reunion group and loved the camp. Pool and nature center were a distance, but nature center was exceptional, especially for the children in our group. I would recommend it for couples or families. Bring your own pans, tho!
