Aver's Pizza, Bloomington

I tried ordering a Lamba Gyro Pi online (for 4:30PM pick up), and came to pick up my pizza 15 minutes early (at 4:15PM), assuming that I would have to wait for a while. Well... it was ready already and had been sitting under the heat lamp for God knows how long. The pizza crust was mushy and wet by then. By the time I got it home it was plain gross. So... the next time I ordered the pizza deliberately for 15 minutes later than I planned on showing up, but the same thing happened... an old pizza sitting under a heat lamp, prepared God knows when. Not good.

Go carry out, that place is nasty, rude, the managers are idiots, and no one ever washes their hands!! cash register right onto my pizza every time. Never again. Avers deal used to be 8.88 now its 13.99 plus a hidden 99 cent delivery charge, that the driver told me the owners get!, seriously check your receipt! They must be going under, oh and they just closed the columbus location, probably because of health code.

Who can beat there crazy eight deal? There pizza and breadsticks are great. There service is really good too... Great place to order from for delivery when doing those late night cramming sessions for classes.

Avers Pizza in Bloominton has to be the best pizza in town. You know its not the normal pizza place when you read their misson statement (To provide our customers with a new standard of take-out and delivery cuisine... The finest, most flavorful gourmet pizzas and breadsticks.) You can order anything from a one of a kind original Cream & Crimson to a standard Pepperoni. I love thier breadsticks, each order contains a full dozen with a cup of sauce. I normally get the ranch, but they also offer cheese, garlic, tomato and even hummus. So, if you want to try something new like a pizza with creamy alfredo sauce, cheese and cajun shrimp or just get the value pack with a medium 1 topping an order of breadsticks and 2 soft drinks, the choice is yours. You wont be sorry, either way but just be happy that you got Avers.

better pizza than any other. great breadsticks and cheese sauce. better than alot of any other pizza places that i have eaten at. simpley the best!!!!!
