Eltoro Mexican Restruant, Salem

We have lived in Salem for 2 years. In this time, we have come to love Eltoro. It has changed quite a bit...new managment and a more traditional appearance. Their Margaritas are wonderful...though small...you can get them during the week for 99 cents!!!! They have the best white goat cheese for nacho chips as an appetizer...get the large one...it is expenseive for cheese...but worth it!! I always get the Steak Mexicano...a t-bone, covered with onion and pepper...add rice or fries and refrieds and you have a meal!! Their taco salads and buffet are alright too!! The servers are friendly...and they remember you after a while...a few always say hello to me when we are running errands in public...this place is wonderful!! Check it out!!!
