Rocky's Sub Pub, Jeffersonville

We went for lunch, service was great, the bread is amazing!!! I had a calzone and it was great. We had a table of 6 and everyone was full and thought is was great! great view from the dining area.

I moved to Jeffersonville last year and looked forward to going to Rocky's. I sat outside on a tiny tiny little chair and unlevel table, The service was fine but my food was terrible. I Remember thinking I wished I had stayed home and had a Hotpocket!

for all those who write a negative review about rocky's they need to give it another chance, everyone knows that no matter where you go, you always stand a chance to have a bad experience, even fine dinning restraunts have bad days, where your waiter/waitress can't seem to get to you in time, or your food just doesn't seem to please you.. I have been to rocky's on numerous occassions and yes there has been maybe one or two occassions where they were slow to refill the drinks or the food wasn't as good as the last but the management was always quick to correct the problem. I personally recomend Rocky's to everyone I can, and I look forward to the next time I get to dine at thier wonderful establish ment. I also hope they re-open another Rocky's in louisville, even though it is worth the drive for the food, service, and the atmosphere on the river in Indiana. Thank you Rocky's Italian Grill.

Trouble started in the parking lot with my mother who has severe arthritis and needed parking. Words were said to my mother from a younger woman who was trying to bully her way into the handicapped spot. We walked away from that incident keeping our tempers in check for parking is a problem if you try to eat at this establishment. We were told we were going to have a 30-40 minute wait.Other patrons were being seated despite my family arriving before them. My family on three occasions checked in at the station were informed that there was a short wait and we would be seated immediately. An hour later I went to the stand and found out that they had crossed our name off. Hostess quickly redirected us to our table. I told the hostess that this table was unacceptabe and we would prefer somewhere else, but there were no other tables available. Our waitress was very charming but overwhelmed. We did receive our drinks, but not offered refills on the salad and or our drinks. After an hour of waiting for our food another waitress overheard our discontent and offered to get management. Yes, we understand that the establishent is busy on Friday's and Saturday's but kindess to your paying customers would establish higher tips/money spent in this establishment. Problems solved establishment could have two or three workers continously walk through the resturarant and ask if the clientle would like refills etc The bathrooms were filthy. When we were seated the clothe that was used to wipe the table down had a very dirty odor. Clean the rags in disinfectant. The food was fair if you like Chef Boyardee. Most of us took two or three bites and threw it away. I was expecting more. We will never come back. Sorry to say you lost five customers who were looking for a special night of good food, wine and dessert. I will not recommend to my friends as will neither the rest of the party to bring anyone here. Word of mouth has a way of hurting businesses. Your team looked like they had their heads chopped off and confused. I pray you get better reviews in the future.

Rocky's is the best Italian place in the Louisville area. I love everything about it, whether we eat inside or outside on the patio overlooking the river. We've always had excellent service, wonderful food and a great time. Definitely a 5-star!

We stayed at a nearby hotel and were looking for a nice place on the River. The atmosphere was great and view was wonderful. We were disappointed with the food. The calzone was flat and a bit greasy. My eggplant dish was over-fried with a hard crust. The salad and bread were the best items. I would not recommend this place for dinner but for a drink, it would be fine.

I am a lover of the culinary arts and also worked in the industry while I was in college. Keep in mind it started in a tiny building across from Jeffboat, and you will realize they have come a long way. John the founder, Ralph, Renae, Stephanie,all the bartenders, and most of the servers I have had one on one contact with and they always go above and beyond the level of service I have ever received anywhere else. The food and service are superb. Not to mention that they are well below the prices of all competitors and thier prices include salads, soups, and all the Italian Bread you can eat. It is one of my favorite places to eat.

What a disappointment this was. We went for lunch. The service was so so. The chicken pasta sucked. The chicken was like the pre-packaged cheap stuff you get at the grocery store. It was light on ingredients and high on price. I HAVE had a good wheat pizza there.

By far the best first date restaurant of all time. I say this because you always want to revisit the first date restaurant. I am from Louiville and in the military, so I don't get to visit often, but always make sure to go there while I'm home. Great food, outstanding service, very reasonable prices, and an atmosphere to die for. Outstanding!

On our recent weekend getaway, my husband and I went to Rocky's for dinner. We enjoyed everything about it. Being from Chicago, we have many good Italian restaurants . Rocky's was ranked way up there for us. The food was outstanding. We had the stuffed olives appetizer. I had the tortellini pesto dish, which was absolutely delicious and my husband had the chicken marsala, and he loved it. The service was also fantastic. It was excellent Italian food. I'm looking forward to returning, soon!
