Trolley Steaks & Seafood, Fort Wayne

Last night we paid our first visit to the Trolley. We came away very much impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The salad bar is excellent, and the food was fantastic. No wonder this has been a Fort Wayne favorite for generations. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening !

Food was ok but overpriced. I must say that my filet was cooked expertly. Bathroom smelled like raw sewage which was very off putting! Waitstaff, while very friendly, appeared a bit inexperienced and hostess was unprofessional and apathetic. To top the evening off I paid with a gift certificate which left a little remainder to be paid, restaurant charged my card twice once for the total amount and once for the amount after deducting the gift certificate. Probably won't go back. Money would be better spent at Cork-n-Cleaver.

One of the best restaurants in this city! Great appetizers (walleye fingers, spinach dip.) Great steaks and salad bar.

My husband and I always go to the same places but yesterday we decided to try Trolley and I have to say, I am VERY dissapointed. We walked in and and it took our eyes a lot of time to get used to. It was very dark and didn't have an inviting feel. We were seated at a dirty table in uncomfortable chairs. The menu is very pricey for the look and feel of the resturant. We both decided to get calzones and we ate 2-3 bites and were done. When the waitress came over and asked if we would both like a box we said no thank you with looks on our faces that showed we didn't like it. The bill came back and it was $30.00. Too much for a disgusting meal! I will never go there agian and I do not suggest this resturant to anyone!

I have had consistent good experiences at the Trolley. The food is very good and salad bar is excellent.

Food is just ok. My steak was buried in a sauce that was not that great, and the asparagus was soggy....wine we had was bad, and the service, while nice people, really didn't know how to provide good service. Salad bar was nice though.
