China Lane, Logansport

We had to move out of Logansport to Lafayette and the thing we miss the most is China Lane--nothing in the Lafayette or West Lafayette area compares in the slightest. You may wait awhile for your food--but it will be well worth the wait.

If there were more stars to give i would, it's my favorite restaraunt EVER. I have been eating there since i was a little girl. I now live in nebraska and the chinese food here is shameful compared to China Lane. I only get to have China Lane when i visit my mom about once a year, i make it worth it by going twice, then i miss it all year long. I am looking forward to visiting my mom in a couple months. I love China Lane!!!!!!!

This was my future wife's and my favorite Chinese restaurant when we were dating ( 1968-69). Couldn't believe it when I saw that it is still in business all these years later. Still one of our favorite dining memories after all these years!!

A cricket are you kidding me. you got the golden cricket and your complaining about it. just goes to show that you cant please some people.anyway ive been eating here for over forty years and have never had a bad meal,or dining experience.

China Lane is the best Chinese restaurant ever. I moved out of state 8 yrs ago and I go to China Lane whenever I go to Logansport. I have tried other Chinese restaurants here but never have found one that comes anywhere close. I am anxious to go there this coming week. May even go there twice. I have never found anything that should not be in the food. Just wonderful!!!! MMMMMMMMMMM

OMG...I love China Lane!!! I am so sad that they won't open a restaurant in Indy. I was so disappointed when my husband told me that we had to move. On the last day before we left, I told my family that we had to go to China Lane. Of course they all agreed with me.haha Who doesn't like China Lane. You must not have the desire for delicious food, if you don't like it.Before I moved to Indy, my girlfriends and I would meet there at least once a week to have a get together thing. The prices at lunch is what is ridiculous!!, not a cricket in iced tea. sounds pretty fishy lady... sounds like something that someone would make up?haha. I think she is the ridiculous one.lol.Well back to China Lane, the prices are crazy!! you have a complete lunch that also comes with soup and hot tea for under 6 bucks per person!!! that's right. 6 BUCKS! it is even cheaper than bringing my family out to McDonald's. Every time i went to China Lane there's always been a wait for seating, but it all worth it at the end. When I have a bad day, somehow I always find myself at China Lane.haha The people that work there always make my day. Especially Mrs. Lee. You just have to go there to understand what I am talking about. You are just missing out on an amazing time by not going. Remember this CHEAP!FRIENDLY!and DELICIOUS!!!! that is China Lane means to me. Good Eating to you.

Great place with lots of elbo room. I love the general chicken, but seems that difrent cooks make difrent I like the juices thick. Oh well its still very good. One thing about the place, If you go late at night you will see only yourcar and a van in the lot. But 20 guys and girls come out to clean up at closeing. Are they all living there ?? I would like to see the kitchen sometime, or at least know its been inspected. More people there are friendly but if you want a waitress you HAVE to call one over, they do not come without being called. I still recomend everyone try this place at least once.Best around. 4stars even tho I found a peace of a medal scrach pad in my food last week. If that were my first visit I probly would not return. last year I got a dirty glass. 2 bad times of 50 or so times I been there, Thats pretty good odds.

China lane has the best Chinese food in town. All their ingredients are served fresh just like the last review said, and everything is served piping hot. Not to mention that there is so much food you can't possibly eat it all. It's wonderful! :)

The food here compares to no other Chinese restaurant. Everything is fresh, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is always excellent! This is the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to!
